Mosmatic magnetic positioning device

Does anyone use these in their s/s bays on the 360 hp ceiling boom? I have searched high and low to find a pic or video of these installed, and can not locate any.

Ive installed quite a few. It's been a while. They mount on the ceilings. It's essentially a circular mounting plate with a pipe sticking down with a magnet. Not the greatest pics by far by this is all I got.

Thank you, that is more than I could find. This device does not really return the boom to the home position, but will hold it once someone puts it there.

I am thinking I need to shim my boom plates to get them to lean more towards a home position, then this device would work.

No problem. Yes that is exactly what I did. Shimmed the booms towards the home position. It's obviously not going to pull the boom from half way around the bay but it does catch them if someone goes to put the wand away and it tries swinging past the magnet as long as its at a decent pace.

Mosmatic does make a boom pulley. Ive never installed or seen one in person. A little overkill IMO and also pricey.
