Midwest Slow Right Now?

Curious if anyone else's wash has been slower than usual lately? Our 4th weekend is usually a busy one for us, but was overall slower then usual. June was nothing to brag about either... Anyone else see these trends the last month or have any reasoning to it?

In the Mid-Atlantic things have been slower than usual. All about the weather.

It has been either raining, overcast & looks like rain, or in the 90s & humid.....feels like all of May and June, with July not much better so far...
Not great carwashing weather. Good for getting preventive maintenance done.

It has not been great here in Western Ohio either. Business has been hit or miss and when it hits, it doesn't hit very hard. 😁 The weather is like Roz said except add that the rain was also pretty bad in April. Is hard to tell how much our sales are affected because we just reopened in January after a year plus remodel.

June was a horrible month for me. overcast days with rain mixed in. Nobody wanted to wash. July has started out strong.

in may we had 110% above the 30 year average of rainfall, and in june we had 46% above the 30 year avg.

historically july is our lowest car count month of the summer, but because may and june was so wet it is actually outperforming our historical trend

In the Northeast the past 2 to 3 months were disappointing and below average. A lot of rain and clouds and weather uncertainty. But some of the reduced washing should be blamed on consumers cutting back spending. The gloomy weather accentuated that.

Its has been dead here in Michigan last 2-3 weeks. High heat, rain, and overcast. I hate it because obviously not making much money but at the same time its nice to have a little break from busy days and customer chaos. Go in for only few hours then head home. Makes me feel like im in a passive income business :ROFLMAO:
