Mars bill Validator Issue

My Mars 2400 Series bill Validator will accept the bill then reject it. The lights on the front blink like the status is good but still will reject the bill. I shut off the breaker to reset the validator and it works fine for multiple bills. I come back the next day and it doesn't work again but still will take bill and reject it till I reset. Thanks in advance for any solutions.

How old is the validator? It sounds like you've got a problem with the side scan sensors in the validator. About the only thing you can do is send it in for repair. I know that's what you don't want to want to hear.

I've had that same issue before. Sometimes cleaning it and leaving it powered down for a while will cure it, but not always. Make sure the sensor that detects the stacker in place is free of dust.
