Lynnville, I think I am familiar with your wash. I'm betting that you have a dip worn into the track near home. Most likely, it finds home when the wash is ending, but rolls back into the dip afterwards and the prox loses the travel limit input. If this is the case, you could grind the unworn area down to the same level as the worn area, eliminating the ramp. You would also need to readjust the prox before attempting to run the machine or it could be broken off on the first attempt to home the gantry. I don't feel the prox is bad because I would think it would slam into the track end if it doesn't see home.
Yep. Worn spot on track. Could also build up the low spot, or change home position a bit? Also wondering if the drive system is getting too much play and may need replacement.
