Making the business more passive with a Petit?

I’ve been doing this almost 25 years. I have felt the same but learned to leave my phone behind when I want a break. Only way I’ve dealt with the problems is hiring someone dependable. Not being a smartass but if you can please share if/when you figure out how to eliminate 80% of the issues. :)

I can second leaving phone behind. It is hard to unwind when you are constantly thinking in the back of your head that the phone is going to ring. I only bring work phone home on the weekends. I leave work at 5 so it is very unlikely their would be nay problems during those last three hours of daylight. It is great having weekday nights to myself and not worrying about a phone ringing. Very rarely does anyone have a problem, and if they do I call them the net morning when I get in and they are usually very happy for the quick reply.

Many of my customers already have my personal cell. The “official “. Customer service line is a google voice number. I COULD forward it to an employee or have it go straight to voicemail if I’m unavailable.

That’s a good idea. My wife makes fun of how accessible I am to any # I don’t know. Whenever I leave town going to start having call forward to manager It’s tough though. Sometimes I wish I didn’t give a 💩 lol
 
i have my cell phone on all the time. i get very few car wash calls. i had an issue with a damage claim recently that went south immediately so i blocked the #.

i have apartment buildings and i get far more calls/ texts for that business. having a multi-tenant dispute presently so i have 2 tenants blocked.
