Let me say that this is not meant to disparage any car wash manufacturer or distributor.

In today's world your analysis should include a credit check. Of course you want great equipment, support, references and all that, but it's going to get ugly for some IBA manufacturers and you should be prepared. Especially the smaller companies without parts or other revenue sources. In this market I would also look for recent sales. If all of their references are older you have to wonder what's keeping the doors open.

I spent less than $100 on credit checks and it was quite an eye opener. Sorry, I won't post the results and they are dated now anyway. Just a suggestion. If you don't have access to check, look in your local listings. You should be able to set-up and account and check a few companies pretty easily. Or check D & B.

All part of the due diligence process. Good advice though, because I am sure that it is overlooked more often than not.
