LW4000 shuts down suddenly before the first arch rotate at the drivers side.

one of our LW4000 just started to consistently shutdown with an arch rotate fail error just before the arch begins it’s first rotation on the drivers side, after moving across the front of a vehicle.

All three rotate arch cam prox switches look to be good with good bright leds on their respective indicators on the input board in the JO when rotating the arch stops in manual mode.

The arch will rotate just fine testing in manual mode.

Any suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks guys

Most likely you have a bad Green Festoon Cable. To test take a 75 foot 16/3 extension cord and run it on the outside of the festoon between J2 and J4. Replace wires 1, 2, and 3 on the green cable at both ends. Test the wash.

Since it's not rotating at all, it shouldn't be the proxs. Also, since it will rotate at other positions, you can rule out the VFD, contactor, motor and gearbox.

Thanks for the tip PEI, what termination positions do the 1-3 wires in the green festoon correspond to? I’ll get on my ladder today and take a look too.
Cheers

Green Cable
Wire 1 (Solid Black) L1OLY34 J2 Terminal 4
Wire 2 (Solid Red) L2OLY34 J2 Terminal 5
Wire 3 (Solid Blue) L3OLY34 J2 Terminal 6

In J4 they should be the terminals all the way on the left.
