Looking for Fusion X feedback

Greg Pack

Wash Weenie
Hi Guys, I've got a chance to pick up a 3/1 package with fusion X for a price attractive enough for me to consider purchasing. My intent would be for me to replace a 2.0 with the fusion X and resell the 3/1 package with a 2.0. I should be able to recoup a great deal of my expenses if I am patient. The Fusion X would give the customers a friction choice at my wash, while still allowing them to get a touch free if they so desire. I'm not sure that there will be a measurable meaningful increase in revenue, but I feel that this is probably a good decision for the longer term.

I'm looking from input from people with experience with either the fusion X or E fusion. There are even more parts on a fusion X than a water wizard 2.0 so common sense tells me that means more maintenance. Is it a meaningful amount? Would you buy a Coleman friction unit again? anything else you'd like to add? Thanks....

Well, I have couple of conversations and swapped emails with a couple of owners. The fusion X doesn't seem to be a perfect machine, it is slow and the VFDs make the machine operate a little strangely, but it cleans well and has apparently held up well enough with one owner with a high volume location. I think we've decided to buy this one if the price is right.

i cant see how it can pair up to a high volume location. Almost a year with the fusion X , and im almost bald. lol..jk. I dont recommend this unit in a high volume area. And option of friction vs touchless, is just that ...you want to give those that scared of soft brush the touchless route. In fact with our fusionx touchless is only 10% of total . And if you decide to buy it, make sure you get the mechanical treadle and not the eye sensor. good luck.
