Liquid Level Float Switch

Anyone have a part number for a good reliable float switch with 1/2 male pipe thread on the end. I need something that I can screw into the side of my storage tank to turn on/off a sprinkler type valve to maintain water level for mu automatic. I've been using one from Madison Company sold by kleenrite but I've replaced it twice in the last 6 months! Kevin

I've used Madison floats for years and found them to be quite reliable.

If your Madison float switch is directly energizing the solenoid valve's coil, the contacts are probably burning up due to excessive load.

A resolution would be to use the float switch to energize the coil of an "ice cube" relay and power the solenoid valve thru the relay's contacts.
