LED Hood Display on a Goldline W/Cryptopay

I have a Hamilton Goldline Autocashier that has the hood option with the upper LED Display. I recently switched to Cryptopay and the upper hood LED display module in the control panel is where the Cryptopay swiper plugs into. I've spoken with both Hamilton & Cryptopay to see if the new Cryptopay display in the door & the Hood display would be compatible & if they would both work together. Hamilton told me it's a Cryptopay question, Cryptopay thought I might be able to splice the wires and get the Hood display to work. Has anyone else had this issue & resolved it? I don't like the ideas of splicing wires & screwing up the new Cryptopay equipment if they're not compatible or it doesn't work. Thanks in Advance
