We think we finally have the LED Chasing Light Modules designed so an initial installation by us or a retrofit for a vendor in the field would be easy to do. We have learned much more about how LED rope lights work and how their technology dictates how they are put together. We had to move the controller from the top of the vendor to the right side near the bottom to make the connections for operators easy to do. LED’s use DC power and only work powered from one direction, so one has to be very careful how the light fixtures are assembled. The plugs that connect the two modules together only go one way so mistakes should be minimal if we did our work right. Wouldn’t you know that in our first test run we hooked everything together to power up and one side worked and the other side did not. Such are the subtleties of LED rope lights!!!

The default setting we chose is a combination of all the different sequences that are available on the controller from no light at all to very rapid pulses of light.
