Laurel Brand Model 2100 Vending Machine

I have a Laurel single Column Towel dispenser with a 11" tall coin mechanism that only takes up to 1.00.
I desire it to take 1.75 or 2.00 if possible.
any tricks to making this happen, for the mechanism that does take up 3.00 is 13.5" tall with a wider spread of the puller and the coin return push shaft.
Is there any way to make this happen??
Thanks as always!

You can't. The machines that take $2 or $3 are completely different. They don't make the retrofit to electronic anymore either.

I have the same issue. It wasn't a problem until Biden got in. Now you can't sell anything for $1.00

You can convert the Model 2100 ($1 max vend price) to a Model 300 ($3 max vend price) by changing out these parts:
  1. Coin mechanism - part #300-D15
  2. Door - part #300-B70
  3. Magazine Assembly (drop-shelf ass'y) -- part #300-D1
  4. Empty Rod - part #300-14
You keep the cabinet shell and you don't need to take it off the wall to make the changes. Yes you can save a decent amount of $ as compared to buying a new Model 300 machine but a good percentage of people we talk to about this decide to buy a new Model 300 and then also some of these consider switching to electronic versions for the benefits they offer.

Thank you very much Chip!

That is the #300-D15 Coin Mechanism, adjustable from 50c to $3.00. Tried and failed to attach link to the operation & service manual, it is on laurelmetal.com, navigate to the Mechanical Vending Machines then the Model 300. Or call me 847-674-0064
