Dear Forum Members,

today we had a electrical power outage at our site for only a few seconds and had to manually reset the M5 back to home position and continue to wash. The bridge reset okay but now there is no voice from the in bay sign speaker. Before the power outage when the key is turned to manual the voice would say Maintenance Mode and the key back to auto the voice would say M5 ready, but now no voice.

Would be good to have the voice working especially for trouble shooting.

Any thoughts of what may have happened and how to repair.

I have had to replaced my speaker on my M5 twice in five years. You can also take your remote and use test 99 to reset all nodes and it might help.

You can test the speaker voltage. If you don't have 8 ohms, replace the speaker.

Like Koliver said it could be the voltage. But it's possible that the power outage could have fried something in the speaker. Try doing a full system reset. Reset everything. Might help.
