Laser 4000 soft start solenoid?

Does anyone happen to know the solenoid spec's or have a part number for a Laser 4000 soft start solenoid? I got a call from a woman who could only give me a number 42424061 and said it's a Dayton but couldn't give me any more info. The number didn't help me at all.
 
I am familiar with a LW 4000

I know what soft start means. I know what a solenoid is.

What is/does a soft start solenoid do on a 4000 ? Where located ?

I don't know, I also made a few calls and no one I talked to who is familiar with the Laser 4000 has ever seen a soft-start solenoid on it. The woman who called me later said it was a Parker solenoid and gave me a part number that isn't for a Parker, so I don't think I'm getting the right info. I did think it was strange to begin with even from what little I know about the machine that it would have a soft start solenoid. Thanks for your reply though.
