KleenRite Vacuum Dualer

GoBuckeyes

Self-Serve and Automatics
I went back and read the three threads that I could find regarding the Dualer, they are all several years old.

Does anyone have anything more recent to say about this product? I have a few vacuum islands that are on the edges of our property and I was thinking of trying to market them as detailing vacs. My thoughts were to add the dualer so that I could add crevice tools and try raising the price from $1/3min to $2/4 or 5 min.

How has the dualer held up over time? I have yet to see one in person, so I'm not exactly sure how they would fail over time.

Would you do this or would you simply make a few vacuums crevice vacs only and forget the dualer?

Thanks!

I would never go straight crevice since someone won't pay attention and feel as though they got ripped off if that is the only option. It is a good question though and I would like to hear from someone that is using these now.

Bought a couple dualers to see how they would work, hold up, be accepted.
Got positive feedback.

I now have 12. (in place a couple of years.) Very few issues.

A few people don't understand it.

Of course more nozzles to maintain.

Lots of positive feedback.

I would keep your price competitive. Advantage is people will like youover competition that does not have them. They will use the vac longer.

put them on and increased revenue in both vacuums. people do liger longer so place them in an area you dont mind being used for a long time. put them in a visible area-people attract people even if they have been there an hour. very few issues with them.

I've had the dualers for at least 10 years and never replaced one yet.My revenue is 2x plus over a single hose vac and on par with my combo's.For their cost a great return on investment.

Thanks for the responses everyone.

Swampdonkey & carwash27, do you guys charge extra for the dualer vacs or are they priced the same as your regular vacs?

Earl, thanks for the feedback, I have a few questions though.

How quick would say the ROI was for the $100 dualer investment?

Did you go with separate colors like their stickers indicate or did you use the same colors?

How securely do they attache to the vacuum? Is it fairly robust?

Thanks!

John

What did you use to provide a place to hang the additional hose? I checked some catalogs and couldn't find a vac hose "hanger".

This is what I bought.

Keep in mind that I haven't installed them yet. What I plan to do is to bolt one on the back side of the adjacent vac. It's an oval vac with a flat back side and only about 2' away. I am going to bolt it on backwards (bolt holes facing out). I have test fit it and it will work perfectly for this with no mods other than drilling a hole in each of the tabs against the vac.

I could picture maybe cutting one of these in two and bolting one half to a round canister vac as well. Another option could be a bracket on a nearby light post if your island has one.

1. I really have no way of figuring this out.
2. Seperate Colors. Vac Nozzles and Hoses don't really cost more for colors.
3. After a coupple of year no breakage or disappearances. Some crevice tools worn out so they are being used.

Since I got my dualers and hose kits thru KR I ordered these.
I may have adjsuted the angle slightly to make it more angels both 90 degrees.

They also have these but I think the lip is a little small.

Looks like the one Dultmeir has but KR is $1.50 cheaper.

As posted above my vacs are on islands pointing opposite directions so the dualer hose hanger is mounted to the back of the other vacuum.

So I've just received my dualers from Kleen Rite and can't figure out how the 2" hose attaches to it...The 1.5" pushes in and is quite secure, the 2" fits inside of the connection, on the dualer but does not fit securely at all. Any ideas?

I was told that I didn't need any additional couplers or fittings when I ordered them...I just posted on the KR facebook page asking them what needs to be done. Once I hear back I will shoot you a message...

Not at the wash nw. Will check. I think we put Hose clamps on both fittings that surround the hoses. Makes them stay more securely. Never occurred to me not to use the hose clamps.

I'm not sure if hose clamps will even work given the sloppy fit of the 2". I will have to do some experimenting tomorrow when I do the install.

Let us know what you find out! Thanks!

dualer - mine fit fine

both hoses fit tight on our unit make shure the pop rivets are in both as they give the friction.
