Hello,
I am trying to install a 3/4" Jobe Topaz float valve, which has the "long tail" inlet fitting, that also works as a bulkhead fitting. The threads appear to be 3/4 male npt, but straight threads as opposed to tapered, as the bulkhead nut spins all the way down. So, I'm a a bit stumped as to the right fitting to use to connect the water line. I found like a water heater hose assembly, which one end had 3/4 fip with a nut and rubber gasket, that looks similar to a garden hose, but the threaded nut isn't very deep and the end of the Jobe tail has a an non threaded part at the tip, so it only seems to have a couple turns before it bottoms out. What type of fitting do you guys use for this? Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks! John
