Installing new RO membranes

Hello, I am installing (2) new filmtec tw30-4040 membranes this week. Once they are installed, do I have to let the unit run for 10 to 15 minutes and let the product water drain to clean the preservatives out of the membranes? Or do I just put new ones in and that's it?
 
Yes, you should let the permeate down the drain at least for a few minutes before you let it fill the tank.
