Installing a vacuum system?

Hi all!

New to the forums and wanted to pick some brains...wanted to install a commercial vacuum (JEAdams) and was curious on your guys' experience on the matter?

Wanted to see if cost wise, it makes sense.

Things that im hazy on or wanted to ask:

-whats the cost of power you guys are paying to run your vacuum? Just trying to get a sense of the KWh that are being spent to run a vacuum to make estimates. The vacuums dont have info on how much kwh is spent so im confused on how to make the calculations.

-So i understand ill need a plastic conduit, probably 25 amp line, will need a concrete pedestal .so ill need to hire an electrician and a concrete guy? Anyone else? Are these jobs expensive for these guys?

-i guess in general, are you guys making profit on the investment of a vacuum? Seems like itll be like a 10k investment (vacuums and labor)?

Was thinking of charging 2.50 for the initial 5 minutes? Based out of the northwest.

Thanks all!

Suffice it to say there is a reason every location has a vacuum. To figure power cost you will have to do the math with your cost per KWH and the amperage for the vacs converting to KWH. . If your budget can handle it I recommend ready made Stainless Island. Let Electrician run power and you can fill with concrete yourself to save some $.
