ID Card issue Fusion X / WW2

Gameday

I have a Fusion X that has been in service since 2010. About five years ago, I removed all of the brushes and have essentially been running it as a WW 2.0 ever since without any issues. To do this, I bypassed all of the brush proximity switches and wiring by feeding 24V directly to the 2009 I/O card from the 24V terminal strip. This morning, I found that the unit was no longer seeing the left brush in the home position. The "0" input (LB Home Position) on the 2009 card is not illuminated. I verified that the 24V signal is present at the input, but the LED for input "0" still does not turn on. All other inputs and indicators on the card appear to be functioning correctly, so the issue seems to be isolated to the "0" input.

My questions are:

  1. Is there a way to correct this issue without replacing the 2009 card, since the problem appears to be limited to the "0" input?
  2. Since the brushes have been removed and are no longer used, is there a way through the Red Lion controller to disable brush monitoring altogether?
  3. Can the Fusion X be configured in software to operate as a WW 2.0 so it no longer looks for any brush home-position inputs?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
