I sometimes wonder if anybody listens to me. ("sometimes." Lol.)
Case in point, at the show in Nashville I specifically said to a half dozen or so vendors to please check up on this-or-that and get back to me since you dont know the answer to my questions. Or "yes I am budgeting for this project, do you have a samples... no, but we will mail one to you." Or in 2 cases, "send me specific pricing for X, assuming the pricing is good I'd like to place an order."
So what kind of response have I gotten? Across the board (with 1 exception) I have gotten a pile of computer generated spam marketing emails, spammy texts, and a dozen spammy phone messages. Holy Crap vendors, if you're not going to pay attention to what you and I talked about at the show, then at least don't send me spam!
Sending me an email saying "we scanned your card, great to meet you, call us so we can talk about how we can help you" is just checking the box so you can tell your boss you followed up. WE ALREADY DID talk about how you can help, and you ignored it!
The exception: I'm going to re-do my bay walls next spring with either extrutech or frp. Extrutech sent me a box of samples along with literature and contact info.
Did anybody else get any meaningful follow-ups?
