Does anyone use the same soap in their SS HP bays and IBA? We are considering liquid concentrates. If so, any recs? We may separate out the soap plumbing in the future, but right now we are just looking for a soap upgrade that works well for both SS & IBA.

I do. I have a Ryko Softgloss Maxx which came with the Ryko soaps upon installation but I eventually switched them over to the same soaps as my self serve....my customers like my soaps better!

I use a blend of simoniz correct powder, simoniz foam additive and hot water. This is my iba, ss soap for hp soap and foamy brush as well as my detail shop's hand washes. It's been a really good fit for me.

Waxman- I see correct is labeled corrosive- for your hand washes do you need to use gloves?

We use wash brushes on poles. Sometimes we use mitts; then we use gloves.

I used to do that, then switched from their foam additive to Simoniz Ultra. It actually seems tonfoam better, gives it some extra bite, & costs way less.

WOW. Great tip! If I buy in 55 gal size it's under $7 / gal. Foam additive is $11.56 / gal.(y):cool:o_O

Yeh, maybe even cheaper, cause the Ultea seems to foam a lil better. I use 2&1/2 gallons to HALF a box of Correct, for 50 gallons.
