Hello All,

My GC supplies Instabol equipment and wondered if anyone can speak to if they have a good recommendation for quality and reliability? Anything I should look out for or any problems seen with equipment? Thanks

I have an two Istobal Flex 5 five brush units. The older one is six years old and has 60K cars on it. If I bought another cloth wash I'm sure I'd look around but Istobal would be at the top of the list.

It's one of the better cleaning units on the market. I have a friend that is in the tunnel business and owns four of the three brush units. He claims it cleans as well as or better than his express tunnels. It's easy to program your wash packages.

One of the things that I liked about the unit is there is nothing to PM. Keep the bay and machine clean and let her do her thing. The unit is pretty reliable and washes for weeks at a time without my intervention.

You will of course need periodic maintenance and replacement of wear parts (wheels, gearboxes)just like any other automatic. Tech support has been very good.
