IBA Average Daily Cars Washed

I thought it would be cool to see the success of peoples IBAs. Post on this thread your type of machine, state your in, and your average cars per day/the best day you have ever had before.

Had an IBA once in NE, Tx & it did 8cpd!
Do you care to share why the count is so low?
You seem to be a competent and involved owner. We can probably learn more from failure than success.
Poor location?
Low traffic count?
Gross mismanagement by previous owner?

Best location in town, LOW traffic count, dying / stagnant town w/ lots of poverty.
But my 8cpd was up from 5cpd previous owner had.
Just not a good situation any way you look at it. I even prepped the cars all day all Summer PERSONALLY.

thank you so much for sharing! when you say low daily traffic count are we talking about less than 5k a day?

Coach, don't want to depress you, but to answer the question of the original post, our best day so far this year was May 6, when our Profile washed 110 cars. Our best year was last year, when we washed a total of 21,715, which looks to average just under 60/day. Someone bought the old, beat-up self-serve about a mile down the road from us. It has an ancient 4000 Laser Wash which I've heard will be replaced, so we will now have some real competition. May the best wash win!

Cheetah, that is great..
& no worries. I learned a helluva lot about SS & IBAs there, then sold that underperforming Wash 3 yrs ago! Best day ever! New guy has taken it & made some improvements. He makes slightly more $$ than I did. So good for him.

I'm averaging about 12cpd. Good days are 25-30. Bad days are 2-3. Best day ever was after a freak weather "mud rain" day, 135 or so for the next couple days. Downside is that I had to reset the machine about 10 times in 2 days. Some drivers just can't follow simple instructions.

We run PDQ L360+....best was 184 cpd. We consistently hit 140-150 cpd on nice weekend day. I setup in the summer months to average 12-13 cph ( that still puts out a great looking car). Winter months...9-10 cph. We are running around 80 cpd average at this site ( our best site, 1 machine). We have 3 sites...just picked up #3, it's probably doing 15 cpd average with high of 48 cpd. We got a lot of work to get this one rolling

FYI...our previous high of 174 happened during/after the Forest fire here in Oregon...2020...we are only 10-25 minutes from that fire. The photo is 13 cars in line at our Silverton wash.

I once did 391 on side by side autos. One machine went down at about 2:30 am. That one did 195, while the other one did 196, so I feel the lines petered out at about 2:30. We later added a third auto. I think my best day with three was 456.
