hydrualic leak

Trying to find a hydraulic leak. got "oil-glo 44-p," did not realize I needed a bunch of fancy equipment to make it work. Can I use any UV lamp to spot the dye, or is theirs special? Thanks in advance for any input, and any other easy solutions to finding the leak?

Or do what I do, buy the oil already dyed.


I also switch to a water based substitue in everything except conveyors.

Conveyors seem to run hotter and I have had some issues with the water based stuff.

thanks! actually, it helps today, got a dealer in town, he'll have it wed., i,ll return the expensive stuff to grainger...slow leak, conveyor.
