Hydrominder

I've had some issues with Hydrominder valves lately that are cracked when I receive them on my self serve equipment. It looks like a defect in the mold. Has anyone else seen this? I've never had this problem in the past, just in the last few months.

Ask the equipment manufacturer to send the Hydrominders boxed up separately and not installed. The weight on the plastic body and the jostling during shipment is probably causing the damage.

I've built a lot of SS equipment and always sent the Hydrominders boxed up. To keep them from getting lost and/or damaged, I would put the tank strainer and nipple in the Hydrominder box and put each box in a tank.
