HP rinse on bay 2 - water trickles down FB hose bay 1?

Noticed yesterday that when HP rinse is selected in my bay 2, I saw small amount of water trickling down the clear FB hose on my bay 1.

At first I thought it might be the weep solenoid, but wouldn't all bays be affected?

Check valve for FB?

Was it just water or foam brush soap? Is there a water weep system on your foam brush? Does your system have a separate foam brush pump and solenoid from the other functions?

Yes, only water on the FB hose.
Yes, there is a weep on the FB.
FB has it's own pump and solenoid.
 
You might check the weep check valves for the HP pumps. One may be leaking from the HP line to the weep line which on most systems is also connected to the fb weep lines. What I do is disconnect the weep hose at the hp check valve. as pumps are turned on you will see which check valve is not sealing.

And yes all bays would be affected if the volume was there. The check valve is not letting free flow but maybe just the trickle you see.
 
Thanks for the help guys . After spending the day there yesterday, I think I had it wrong. It's not the HP Rinse, but rather the tri-foam wax gun that's causing it.

It seems that when any bays trip foam wax gun is used, i see water being purged through all the other wax guns & foam brushes.

I think you just turned the "Complexity of the Issue" up a notch or two! I'm having a hard time thinking how this could even be possible? Especially if its something that just started happening...

I have TF guns and FB hoses. Even if I weeped water through each of these (Which I don't) There's no way any single activated Wax gun could purge anything from any of the other bays....Maybe yours is plumbed in a way that could allow this. But I'm having a hard time visualizing how that could be.

Well, my chem distributer was out yesterday, and he was puzzled himself. We closed off every shut off valve that feeds the 1/4" poly to weep the TF and FB. That stopped it. Maybe today I'll be able to go through each weep output on the solenoid and see what is causing all this?

I dunno - I'm totally new to all this. Perhaps it's multiple things causing it? Maybe a weep solenoid not closing 100% along with multiple faulty check valves? I know the chances of that are low, but it would seem to me the only thing that would cause water to enter the entire system, no?
 
Since you’re using water weep on the lp system, I suspect a leaking weep system check value is the likely cause.

HP water hits the leaking check valve, sending water backwards into the weep system. The water finds the path of least resistance and shows up as a leak in the lp system’s guns/brushes.

If you didn’t have water weep on the lp system, the leak would eventually show up as an overflowing rinse water tank. Or, soapy water in the rinse tank.
 
I would suspect a cross-current activating the weep when a bay is turned on. Check for voltage at the weep solenoid for the foam brush when you activate TF in a bay. If the TF has its own separate system and it pumps from a tank of mixed chemical, there's not going to be a weep check valve anywhere causing water to run from the other bays.
