Hello,
I have a 3 year old Standard rear load dual changer. When we arrived the other day, the out of service light was on. When looking at it from the back, the left side, labeled #2, had nothing lit up on the hopper or bill acceptor, and the right side, labeled #1 was on but flashing a code for "disabled from system". Also, possibly relevant, my maintenance guy said the the lights that were lit on the #1 side seemed dimmer than usual. I believe the two hoppers are set up differently, like one is the master and the other a slave, so I'm guessing maybe the control board on the #2 hopper died, and it's the master, so the other won't work on it's own? Has anyone had a similar experience, or have any tips on how to troubleshoot the problem? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks! John T

Found the problem. The power harness for the #2 hopper somehow got crushed under the hopper causing a short. Thanks!
