I have a bay that on friday when a customer turns the bay selector to high pressure rinse it shuts off the bay. Even when you turn the selector to another position you still have to put in more money to restart it. I switched the selector with another bays and it did the same thing so I am pretty sure it's in the equipment room not in the bay. I checked wires and tightened bolts but I didn't see anything obvious and the bay is still doing it. Any ideas?

Check the wiring at the contactor. A lot of washes use the thermal overload to kill the 24V to everything if the motor overheats, and a loose wire there could be killing the juice from the kick of the motor starter engaging. It may even be tripping and resetting itself.

The next likely thing would be the timer, or the motor starter coil or solenoid coil could be bad and causing a direct short.
