Help me brainstorm a solution!

Was thinking of a way to quickly blow out our hp line with a pint or so of rv antifreeze. We have an older part of our wash that doesn't have heat in the floor so when it gets below freezing we shut that side off. All our pumps have a quick disconnect and at times we have poured some rv antifreeze in the hose and blown it thru with compressed air. I am thinking about an attachment that holds a pint of rv and quick connects to bay hose and possibly hook a air line to it. Anyone have any ideas?

I think there is a thread by 2BIZ from a few years ago about an antifreeze blowdown system. Try to search for it.

I didn’t read every post but I think this is the one you want to look at

I installed a Tee just downstream of my weep water shutoff valve. When it gets freezing down to the point that it's not safe to have the car wash open due to heavy ice build up. I turn off the main water supply to the car wash and weep water, turn off the power to the bays, connect a air hose to the Tee and blow the water out of the weep system. Then I pump -22 deg. windshield washer fluid into the weep system with a Flo-Jet pump until it comes out of the guns and foam brush out in the bays. I sometimes remove the guns and foam brush handles. I have everything I need staged ready to go in a bucket so I don't have to go look for this or that. I believe -22 deg. windshield washer fluid is less expensive as RV anti-freeze.

This is the way to do it if you don't need it automated

If your leaving it shut down multiple days at a time I would just air purge the hp line then remove the nozzle and put a plug in. Once that is done inject the HP line with automotive antifreeze using a flo jet or similar pump until it fills up and leave it like that. Sure beats having to remove and re install booms/hoses.
