Help! Ginsan face plate wanted

Help! I have a friend who had a face plate stolen from his self-serve bay last night. It’s 2005 era Ginsan coin box. Ginsan is saying it’ll be weeks before they can get one. Does anyone have one laying that they are using?

Weeks does not seem that bad for a 20 year old meter box door assembled. Does he have a few other bays so he can just do without for a few weeks?

I would order it sooner than later instead of relying on someone to have one. Even if he found someone in a few days unless he has them next day air it then it would still be a week or so until he gets one.

You could always take a door from a another bay to metal fab shop and have them copy it if he's in a rush but guaranteed it will be a lot more expensive then just waiting on one from gin san for just the plate. He will still be waiting on parts, decals, and then have to assemble it all.

I looked on CWC but didn't see anything that matched. Good luck.

A couple of weeks is pretty standard. We don't keep pre-built doors on the shelf anymore because all the variations available. Probably 99% have custom graphics. Multiple brands of credit cards, coin acceptors, timers, sizes, shapes, and flavors. We also try hard to keep to a first come first served production schedule so there will always be several customers ahead of you at the time of order.

Thanks Dan, he's been calling around and that's what he finding out. I was just hoping that someone had one in there scrap pile that they pulled out to upgrade. This is another prime example of why you should not install bil validators in a coin box.
