Hi everyone — I'm William Brent Batson, Badger Enterprises, from Karnes City, Texas. I'm a building contractor with 28 years designing, operating, and building self-serve and automatic car washes and laundromats, mostly in South Texas.
I joined to learn from this community and to be useful where I can. If you're looking at building or buying a wash, the things I see people get caught out by most often are: picking a layout before checking what the site will actually fit, underestimating utility and drainage work, and taking a generic build number as a budget for a specific site. Happy to share what I've learned on layouts, equipment plans, and realistic build budgets — and to answer questions.
