Hamilton Gold Line Stacker Problem

I converted my STA to XE using Hamilton's kit. Bills jam at least once a day, sometimes folding in half, and sometimes trying to insert themselves above the 2 black arms rather than below them where they should go. Hamilton says it could be a validator not synced with the stacker, or it could be the stacker. It does seem like the tray that the bills stack atop has a little more resistance to moving down that with my other ACW.

Ideas?

I've had a few of the same problems on my Gold Line with a Mars validator. What I've found is the lip of the validator does not line up right all the time & gets in a bind. When closing the door I now make sure the lip clears the front of the cabinet & it seems to be OK

Some of my carwash friends say they remove the stacker in Hamilton Gold Lines and put a box in its place. Harder to count the $, but no more bill jams, which = less downtime and more money.

FYI

Mine have been trouble free since new.
