my kiosk randomly shuts down with the message “release button” showing. all the buttons appear fine though. any thoughts or has anyone else experienced this?

I've had this happen in freezing weather, usually immediately after a rain. The next time it happens, pull a wire off each switch, one at a time, until the message goes away. Then repair/replace the problem switch.
