Hamilton ACW Token Note Value reset

I have a hamilton ACW paystation. This week it reverted my tokenote value to $5. It has been set at $8 with no issues forever and all of sudden when you put the token in it gives $5 credit. When I go in and try to reset it the value is correct at $8. Not only this but it also will give $5 change if you hit refund. I have went through the token note setup twice with it reverting back both times. I called hamilton and they really didnt have any answers either. Hoping someone can help. Thank you

What model Hamilton ACW are you talking about?

It says ACW 4/5. I guess im not really exactly sure. The controller has the 4 buttons on the side!

Do you also have a DAN system linked to your paystations?

OK. So I would not be surprised to learn that the DAN has the token programmed at $5 and is overriding the paper programming for $8. Are you familiar with the DAN programming? If not then Hamilton can walk you through the various settings. Other thing to check is if you have any special events programmed into the DAN. Perhaps you enabled one by accident. We have an event that gives customers a $2 discount credit for a wash as specific times of the day so we can load balance our busy times.
