I picked up another neglected SS and working on bringing it back to life. 4 of the bays use a Gould Jet pump for the foam brush. Ive never worked with a setup like this and having a tough time figuring it out. Pump is only 6 years old.
Foam brush is giving me a tough time. Water leaves the mixing tank, runs down to pump, then is sent up and out to the bay. Jet pump is clearly running, but not building pressure and no liquid in bay. I can see a few drops pushing through the tubing and can feel the air from the compressor making it to the brush in the bay. My hunch/first fix is the pressure switch on the jet pump has gone bad, and at $20 nothing to lose. I've checked and pump is primed.
Anyone have a similar setup that can give some insight? Pump is also constantly running, doesn't seem to cycle off when bay isn't in use.
