Last year I offered them with the QR code decal KR sells and saw zero people use the service (does CryptoPay offer a scan count?)
This year we aren't offering the service BUT left the QR code decals up with the intent of reactivating the service if ONE person complained they couldn't get their receipt. It's been 11 months and not even a question about it. The decals come down in a few weeks completing my own assessment. What I see are people immediately checking their actual bank account to get that kind information while treating my CryptoPay QR code receipt signs with the same love they treat my "NO DUMPING" and "NO LOUD MUSIC" signs. They just don't read them. Waiting two hours for a receipt is a bit long in this world. I've also noticed people are now treating QR codes with the same discretion as a potential sexual partner, they know they can catch a virus.
Is this a paid feature? It's included with Nayax. As you said, there are some people who absolutely need receipts, if you don't provide them, they will go to a wash that does.

I don't think I would bother especially if go green receipts is some thing that costs money. Everyone just looks at their credit card account on their phone nowadays. If they pay with a credit card and need a receipt for their boss it seems like it's easy enough to take a screenshot of your credit card account activity online to submit for reimbursement.
I do give hand written receipts on rare occasions to the people that ask for it.

We have it, I don't think it gets used much, but will continue using it. Normal people don't need it, but I point it out to people in commercial vehicles(we get a lot of those). Even after pointing it out, most don't scan it, but some do. Cryptopay gives a $30/year discount if you also buy the site analytics.
I offered it for several years. About a year ago I decided not to renew at my two sites but as others have done left the receipt sign up. Between the two sites my Monthly credit card revenue is 45K or so. I've had one receipt request from an employee in that year. For them I just went to virtual terminal and emailed the receipt. The IRS does not require receipts for purchases under $75 so I assume it's use is mainly for employees of companies when using the company card or seeking reimbursement for their personal card use.
