Ginsan or JE Adams air machine

Looking to add an air machine and have narrowed it down to the ginsan and the JE Adams unit that mounts to a pedestal. Does anyone have any expirence with either. Also pics of the inside would be great can't find anything online

These machines are mostly generic concerning the "Guts" They have a compressor, timer and accepter. Biggest difference is security. I have JE Adams and security is relatively good. I do not know about Ginsan.

Do you know if there's much of a difference between the 2? In reliability and security .or atleast have insight on the ginsan unit

Ours is all 14 gauge, vented for cooling of compressor(We missed that in the first design. Bad move) Internal locking mechanism with concealed pin lock. Your choice of coins, bills, timer, optional Gast compressor, pedestal for ground mounting or a shorter pedestal for island mount or you can mount them to a wall. I believe we've even done some with credit card.

I'm reluctant to share my opinion of competitors products on public forums as I just don't find it proper. I will only say that I will put our products up against anyone's every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Just make sure you are looking at the details so you are comparing apples to apples. I had one customer the other day accuse me of trying to rip him off on some vacs because he saw one at a catalog house for hundreds less. I pointed out the one he was looking at had a mechanical coin acceptor, timed delay relay instead of a timer, 2 motors vs 3, no lights under dome, no debris catcher, no lock bars, and several other options he requested.

Is the gast compressor worth the upgrade? I think I'm going to go with the ginsan one

Do you have any vacs near or attached to the equipment room? I have read about operators on here just adding an airline from the compressor, solenoid, and toggle switch to an existing vac so customers can use air or vac. Saves on buying and installing new equipment, and you get to use the existing vac timer and coin/bill acceptor. And you can charge the same amount for vac and air without much pushback on price. I've seen one operator add a meter box onto the wall outside ER, run airline w/ solenoid from air compressor to a hose reel through the wall and start raking in the basically free money! I plan on adding to vacs near the ER, running nylon tubing through the electrical conduit to the vacs. Just another option for you

I'm going to put it out by the road so people see it thanks for the idea though

I recommend the Gast for high volume sites like gas stations. If you've never has an air machine at your site it's impossible to know what your usage is going to be. Most carwashes are fine without the Gast but I do have a few that anything but them gets worn out in a year or two.
