Getting insurance in a wildfire area is becoming difficult. For many years I was a member of Western Carwash Assn and always insured with their preferred provider. I just heard this morning that 3 companies have refused to even quote insurance, and my current insurer supposedly will not renew my policy at its next renewal.

Does anyone know of options about how to deal with this, or other sources for insurance?

Well I can tell you the cause of this. The flipping tree huggers out there got the state to stop cutting down the trees by power stations and other places. Then they stopped the logging companies from clearing out the dead wood. So the dead stuff piles up, grows close to the power company, and the utilities shut the thing off. Can you say rolling blackouts out there?
