The boom in my gantry - the one with the osc. nozzles, etc. in it - has a broken belt. It is hanging down on one side about a foot below the other side. I have a replacement belt but have never replaced one. Anyone have experience with this? I assume I have to get the boom hanging level before doing anything. Not sure how I will do that. Any tricks to getting the boom to hang straight after installing the new belt? Or do I have to measure from the top of the boom up to the gantry and then keep jumping the belt a tooth until both sides measure the same? I assume I will have to put a jack and some blocks under the broken belt side of the boom and use that to level it out before installing the belt. Does boom need to be lowered (somehow) all the way to the bottom before changing the belt? What is in that pulley up top to adjust the tension on the belt? I have never had a belt problem before and have not even looked at that pulley up close.

Thanks in advance for any input.
