I dont want to damage the hydraulic drive motor by appling too much force . any suggestiong or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Can you get at the nut with a grinder? If so, use a metal cut-off wheel to cut a groove in it as deep as you can, then use a nut splitter on it.

Re; MEP001, that's one way to do it. You will not damage or harm the motor by applying torque to the nut. One thing you will find out is even if you do get the nut off, you will still have a problem getting the wheel off. When it is time to change wheels, I find it saves a lot of work and frustration to change the motor and wheel assembly. Keep in mind that if you change one drive wheel, you will need to change them both as they will not pull the same if you only change one.
