Hello All...

Full Service guys what are you averaging in time for the following?

Vacuum

Windows

Dry, Tires, Spot Time?

Total Average Wash Time?

Thanks

Lou

14 - 18 minutes for the complete process. We don't compartmentalize as a filthy Suburban will obviously take more time to vacuum than a clean Miata. We try to maintain the 16 minute average as best we can. If we get into the 20 minute arena, we can see the customers start to get antsy and the complaints start flowing.

Lou,

These guys are spot-on with the FS time envelope.

There is one high-speed FS I'm aware of in Tampa, Fl. that does offer a FS start-to-finish in 10-min. However, this is pretty much a "slam-bam" affair with virtually no QA/QC.

Roughly 15 minutes from the time they are greeted till they pull out. We have a big sign that reads: To all our Full Service Customers Wait time is approx. 10-15 minutes per car. Do the Math. If you don't have the time, please do not wait in this line. Thank You.
The sign has been a blessing.

Vacuum - avg car 2 min (2 man team) - of course xtra dirty and SUV's more time is necessary

exit end procedures, after car is stopped - again - avg car and no extra services besides TS -- 2 minutes (3 man team) and 3 minutes (2 man team) - assuming the car is actually cleaned inside the tunnel and doesn't need cleaning on the exit end

Total Average Wash Time? from customer drop off to pick up 15 minutes is a good standard
