You may be wondering why I put this topic in the "Just about anything" catagory. Well that's because I'm talking about teeth, not cars, although there are a lot of similarities with the two. Most everyone brushes their teeth. The ones that don't have few friends. Some even floss nightly. But very few use a water pick along with brushing. I've been using one for years and every time I have a dental cleaning, the lady always says that she has never seen such clean teeth. My dentist doesn't even recommend these, maybe because it would decrease his business. Get one at any drugstore and after you have brushed and/or flossed, fill the tank with warm water and blast away. Most all of them have adjustable handles to control the flow, and you may need to start on a low setting. What you see coming out of your mouth will amaze you. Well maybe amaze isn't the right word, but you will see a lot of food particles. The water picks are also useful to flush out heavy ear wax, just keep the flow control on low and use as warn water as you can bear. That's your hygene lesson for today. The first time you use one of these you have to think about cleaning cars with high pressure.
