The back wheels (wraps) have a tendency to snag briefly on more than a couple rear bumpers. Even though it is a short snag the aluminum shaft will bend at the top requiring an expensive replacement. Its on video. We have guard rails to minimize any bumping of the wheels. Has anybody tried retrofitting solid rubber couplings or similar to provide some give and prevent the bending of aluminum shaft? If so, please let me know where you ordered parts. I will retrofit as necessary. Thanks.

There is no way that I know of, but I own a Freestyler, and the shafts do not bend that easilly. Surely, a snag shouldn't hurt them. Is your High current retract enabled? Check that.... It is in exit wheel setup...

Tom,
Rick is correct. The Freestyler has the ability to monitor the current on the rear wheels so if a current spike is encountered, this would happen if the wheel snags, the arms will retract.
