Great replies, thanks to all.
I think I will dial down the pressures on both air and product, testing it on the way down to find the right settings. I suspect that they somehow, over time, got to roughly equal which was the source of the problem.
And, I'll do the bleach flush. It's probably WAY overdue since I have never done it in six years of ownership.
