Foam Brush Change Over

I only go to my car wash 3 times week so I normally leave the tips alone. We don’t get a lot of hard freezing weather up here in the Pacific Northwest, not like the rest of the country. Right now I’m using a Beige tip. It was in the mid-teens at night and in the mid 30's during the day last week and we didn’t have any problems. There is no Glycol in the anti-freeze foam brush soap. The active ingredient is Methanol, which is made from Natural gas. If you have access to 55 gallon drum of Methanol you can make your own anti-freeze soap by pumping out 5 gallons of Methanol and then adding 5 gallons of concentrated foam brush soap.

A 30 gallon drum of Winter Foam brush soap KR30AF (Pink/Cherry Scent) from Kleen-Rite is $181.75. We don’t use a lot of the Winter Foam brush soap, we don’t get a lot of business when it drops down into mid 20’s or lower.

My Winter FB Soap is a Warsaw product. It cost me $230 for a 55 gallon drum. Its just a little over $4 a gallon. My distributer delivers every 6 weeks or so and only adds $20 for fuel charge. They are great to deal with...

What does KR charge to ship something that heavy?
