Also if I could get them to seal I can't get my valve handles to clock properly. I could live with the one side but the other side I would not be able to shut off because the pump stand frame is in the way. Maybe if I used standard valves that had female threads on both ends and pipe nipples it would work. I'm trying to eliminate as many joints as possible because this is on my Cat 1010 spot free delivery pump with an underground tank that I had issues in the past with burning up low pressure seals.

I switched from the white teflon tape to the blue Monster tape and I'll never go back! I've not had one leak issue since.

best tape on the market hands down!!!

It's definitely good stuff. I bought some regular 1/2" and some 1/4" wide so there's not any tape showing on the bay hose fittings. Three wraps and done.
