Extrutech

For those that have Extrutech, i think the norm is to typically do white. Has anybody done theirs gray instead. Im thinking the gray may help to conceal staining, soiling etc. This will be for IBA only not SS.

It may help to mask soils a little bit, but the brown/black stains and spotting will still show through. It would only probably really help if you had grey stains, which I never see. Grey might only make your bay look less bright and inviting and might also not highlight whatever lighting scheme you are using. White, on the other hand, really brightens the bay and enhances the lights. I’d stick with white and find a good cleaner and use it more often. I guess it also depends on the shade of gray and how dark it is. Darker shades might mask more dirt but will really take the “pop” out of your bay. That’s just my opinion.

I’ve seen 1 wash done in gray. I didn’t like the look at all and it didn’t help hide the grime. My thinking was the same as yours. I would have been rather upset with the appearance after spending thousands.
I have bright white Extrutec.
I wash the walls with Stone Soap ReStore in the spring and in the fall. I use a chemical sprayer to apply chemical at 4-5:1, then give it a quick scrub with a nylon truck brush and rinse with the high pressure. Any stubborn areas get another chemical application and scrubbed with magic eraser. Place still looks great after 9 years.
