I have some extra 15 HP motors that came with my dryer arch for my in bay. I was thinking about using 2 of them to increase efficiency on my IBA. These motors were used with an oscillating feature originally so the shrouds were NOT mounted directly to the motor. When I start looking at shrouds for the 2 motors I would like to add, it appears that they DO bolt directly to the motor. Is this a different type of motor or what? I would like to use these motors since they are just sitting around, but don't want to invest the money and time if these motors won't work.

Confused yet?

Thanks!

Motors are identified by the Frame #. You can find your motors frame # on the identification plate on the motor. Most blowers use a 215tc frame and would work with most of the shrouds available.
