What is the language I should use on agreement between my company and my employees regarding employee uniforms that the employee is issued by the company?
We provide our employees with 5 sets of uniforms and we launder them for them, they have a clean uniform every day. Who is going to be responsible to clean, launder and press your employees uniforms?
I find it interesting that you guys as the employer are responsible for providing a clean uniform. For us, we provide 2-3 uniform shirts based upon # of hours worked and it is the employee's responsibility to provide black pants that meet our requirements and to have a clean uniform.
JeffM check your state laws before one of your employees do. I made a small mistake once and sure enough, an employee figured it out and turned me in. Labor & Industries sends you a letter and you have days to pay the difference and the fine.
