When we switched to the new Air Logic nozzles, the original Diskin holders were boxy and scratched the new nozzles. We were able to reuse the same holes in my concrete walls, by welding the 6" round wand holder (from Hamel Manufacturing) onto a SS plate. Yeah, the design does stress the hose a bit, but it does NOT blow out of the holder or scratch the nozzle.

Slotted could work as well, just make it short enough to fit the "blade" below the holder and you're golden.
